Wood-Fired Pizza Franchise to Open New Location in Washington, MO


Washington, MO, Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza & Taproom – the fastest-growing wood-fired pizza franchise in the U.S., is happy to announce its expansion into Missouri with the planned Spring, 2024 opening in Washington, MO. The new restaurant and self-pour taproom will be located at 1900 Phoenix Center Drive. The new restaurant will present the perfect spot to have a meal and drinks with family and friends. Local Washington resident Karl Mittler is the Franchise Owner.

The 3,000 square foot restaurant will also feature a unique self-pour taproom wall.  Guests will be given an RFID enabled bracelet and then be able to select from a variety of beers, ciders, wines and mixed cocktails.  Guests pour their own drink, so they can choose to pour an ounce or a full glass.  Smokin’ Oak Pizza is the only pizza franchise in the US to offer a self-pour taproom wall.

The restaurant features a full menu of wood-fired pizzas, salads, starters, and even desserts. The oven, fueled by oak wood cooks pizzas in about two minutes. The brand delivers an enjoyable pizza experience through its open-plan kitchen, which allows customers to customize and watch their pizzas being made right in front of them. The dough and sauces are made in-house, veggies are cut fresh throughout the day, and even the meats are roasted in the wood-fired oven to infuse real oak wood flavor.
